I am dissatisfied with the service I received from Waukee Dental and feel the need to write this review to shed light on the similar negative experiences I have had with this establishment.
Approximately a year ago, I had a large filling in my tooth, and Waukee Dental recommended a crown, claiming that the filling was too large and could lead to issues down the line. Following the crown procedure, my tooth became abnormally sensitive, and I experienced severe pain in less than a year. When I approached Waukee Dental, they informed me that my tooth’s roots had become infected and that I needed a “root canal treatment.”
Under normal circumstances, I am aware that a crown should last at least 10 years without any issues, but the crown provided by Waukee Dental barely lasted a year, necessitating an expensive and urgent root canal treatment. Waukee Dental did not offer any guarantee on the crown, even charged me for the checking after I had severe pain, leaving me responsible for the costs incurred as a result of this procedure.
Additionally, I have observed that in the fall months, Waukee Dental sends marketing emails encouraging patients to spend their insurance coverage, which could potentially lead to unnecessary treatments being performed. This suggests that unnecessary interventions that could jeopardize patients’ health may be carried out.
This experience confirms my suspicions that Waukee Dental may prioritize profit over patient well-being. Therefore, I strongly advise anyone considering seeking services from Waukee Dental to consult opinions from different dentists regarding unnecessary interventions.
In the meantime, I shared this experience with a former Waukee community member named Gokhan. He also shared a similar situation with me, stating that he had experience that this dental clinic may suggests and may performs unnecessary treatments to maximize profits.
In conclusion, the service I received from Waukee Dental has left me greatly disappointed.
