
Dr. Kim is a native of Des Moines, Iowa and after graduating from Valley High School, she continued to Iowa State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Driven by her passion for dentistry, she continued her education at the University of Iowa, completing her Doctor of Dental Science degree in 2012.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kim has gained valuable experience working in diverse dental settings, including public health and private practice. Committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, she dedicates extensive time to continuing education to ensure her patients receive the highest level of care.
Actively engaged in the dental community, Dr. Kim served as the past president of the Des Moines District Dental Society, showcasing her leadership and dedication to the profession. She is also a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Iowa Dental Association.
Dr. Kim’s approach to dentistry is characterized by compassion and a sincere commitment to serving her patients’ best interests. She takes great pleasure in collaborating with her patients to help them achieve their dental treatment goals effectively and efficiently.
Outside of the office Dr. Kim loves to spend time with her husband and two young sons. Her interests include traveling, hiking, reading, and enjoying live music.
